Timothy Peterson, a specialist at Cane Island Alternative Advisors, believes that the active growth in the number of transactions in the Bitcoin SV network is not natural.
After examining the data provided by the CoinMetrics service, Peterson found that the average transaction amount on the Bitcoin SV platform is 0.1 cents.
According to a January BSV report, the network processes more than 700,000 transactions daily. Moreover, each of these transactions has a cost of exactly 0.1 cents.
Peterson notes that these volumes do not make any sense from an economic point of view. He claims that almost all of the 700,000 transactions are fakes.
The CoinMetrics chart shows that the increase in the number of transactions began in January, continued until the middle of the month, where it reached its maximum, and then the volumes began to fall.
