All participants are divided into groups, each ofwhich is responsible for a particular segment. Some companies will be engaged in the design of the vehicle itself, others will focus on the development of airspace modeling, and the rest will work on data exchange systems between providers.

In addition to this project, Boeing has been collaborating with Porsche for five months on a project to create a premium flying car.
