The parliamentary inter-factional association Blockchain4Ukraine and the recently created public association of the same namethe organization signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The memorandum provides for the formation of a unified position of the parties to determine the legal status of virtual assets, their turnover and taxation in the country.
Another area of cooperation will be the development of a concept for introducing blockchain and solutions based on this technology, including in the work of state registries and public administration.
"In fact, this is a formal legalization of the blockchain coalition of the legislative and executive authorities of Ukraine, aimed at introducing this technology in our country,"- said Kostiantyn Yarmolenko, the head of the group of advisers to the MFO Blockchain4Ukraine and the director of the public organization Blockchain4Ukraine.
The memorandum comes into force from the date of its signing.
The public organization Blockchain4Ukraine includes lawyers and public figures who took part in the development of legislative regulation of the cryptocurrency market.
Recall adopted in final reading 6December, the law on the implementation of FATF standards to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism was signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
