Messenger LINE has launched its crypto wallet and blockchain platform

The largest app in Japan forLINE has launched a blockchain platform and wallet to manage digital assets.

LINE was the first and only messaging app to successfully launch its blockchain platform back in 2018.Then came the release of its own cryptocurrency LINK and its placement on its exchange of digital assets BitBox, which was launched in the same year.

NOW, LVC, in conjunction with BITMAX Wallet, is inviting developers to its platform to release their own tokens, tokenize digital assets and launch decentralized applications (dapps).

Link is conceptually similar to EOS, ADA, and Ethereum in the sense that it supports DApps and the wide variety of services offered by its network.

In addition, over 84 million LINE users have the opportunity to use the company's cryptocurrency wallet.

Other attempts by major messengers have failed.

Canadian messenger Kik and Russian Telegram face lawsuits fromU.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the fundraising process (ICOs), while the projectU.S. stablecoin Facebook has stalled and faced serious challenges from U.S. and European legislative and financial authorities.
