The American representatives of Singapore-registered fund Three Arrows (3AC) have filed for bankruptcy in a New York court.
The fund, founded in 2012 by former employees of the Swiss investment bank Credit Suisse Zhu Su and Kyle Davis, managed about $10 billion in assets as recently as last year.
As cryptocurrency prices fell, the value of assets declined rapidly - already in April it reached $3 billion.
