Kazakhstan will allow crypto companies to open bank accounts

The government of Kazakhstan plans to officially allow banking institutions to open bankingaccounts for organizations that work with cryptocurrency.

Currently, Kazakhstan is included in the list of countrieswith the largest share of Bitcoin hashrate. The authorities of this state have previously repeatedly stated their readiness to create conditions for the operation of the cryptocurrency business, which has enormous potential.

At the beginning of this week, a local TV channel«Khabar 24» announced that under the auspices of the government of Kazakhstan a project will be launched, within the framework of which banks will have the right to open accounts for crypto companies.

In the Blockchain and Data Center Industry Associationhave already confirmed the information received from the media. The project is designed for one year and starts in test mode on the basis of the International Financial Center «Astana».

However, journalists have not yet been able to find out which Kazakh banks will receive the right to work with digital currencies.

Note that the Central Bank of Kazakhstan is preparing to start testing the national digital currency (CBDC).
