Interactive Brokers' financial advisors will now be able to recommend cryptocurrencies to their clients.
BrokerageInteractive Brokers Group has announced that its registered investment advisers will now be able totrade and store Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Litecoin (LTC) fromthe faces of their clients with the help of Paxos Trust Company.
At the moment, the service will be available only for US advisors, but the company plans to expand it to global clients.
Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Interactive Brokers said:
The strategy of placing a small percentage of your portfolio in cryptocurrencies is becoming more and more popular. Many investment advisors would like to be able to offer cryptocurrencies to their clients.
