Interactive Brokers Launches Cryptocurrency Trading

Interactive Brokers LLC announced the launch of a cryptocurrency trading service through the Paxos platform.

According to According to the press release, clients of the brokerage company can now trade and store Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Cryptocurrency trading commissions will range from 0.12% to 0.18% of the transaction value, depending on the monthly volume.

Moreover, a brokerage company,registered in the United States, noted that the minimum commission for an order would be $ 1.75, explaining that there would be no spreads, markups or other storage-related costs on the site.

Interactive Brokers Hinted In June Of The Possibilitylaunching a cryptocurrency trading service on its platform. The brokerage firm, registered in the United States, previously offered Bitcoin futures to its clients.

Its main competitors, Charles Schwab and Fidelity, have yet to launch cryptocurrency trading, but both offer access to some cryptocurrency funds.
