The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the amendment of two laws concerning the regulation of cryptocurrency in the country.
According to the statement of the central bank, the bills received the title “On the introduction of changes in the legal acts in the scope of the script” and “Revised”
The work on the documents started back in November 2020 with the idea that the new rules had formed a clear legal basis for the cryptocurrency trade in Georgia.
In the framework of both laws of the crite- ria, theLegal Notice, it is a legality that they will have to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering Law (AML). For running a business in Kyrgyzstan, the operators of the stock exchange should also receive operating licenses from the central bank.
