Foreign regulators refuse to help SEC in case against Ripple

Foreign regulators refuse to help SEC in case against Ripple

The SEC was unable to obtain data from Ripple on foreign trade transactions with the XRP token.

US Securities and Exchange Commissionturned to foreign colleagues for help. The regulator requested information about Ripple's foreign transactions. According to the agency, hundreds of millions of XRP were traded on exchanges not registered in the United States.

Six jurisdictions politely rejected the American request, two outright refused assistance, and three more prohibited government disclosure of company information.

Юридическое противостояние SEC и руководителей Ripple тянется с декабря прошлого года. За это время судья Нетберн не раз демонстрировала лояльность в отношении обвиняемых.

At the beginning of the month, Ripple opened access to internal SEC documents and prohibited the regulator from disclosing personal financial statements of top managers.
