DeFi project Opium adds support for Dutch auctions for option strategies

The Opium Protocol project team has added support for Dutch auctions for the DeFi Option Vaults product and othersautomated strategies.

The new feature saves gas as the taker only needs one transaction to select a lot at the desired price.

“The price can decrease in a linear or exponential trajectory over seconds, minutes, or even hours,” explained Andrey Belyakov, founder of Opium Protocol.

Last year, the project launched the OPIUM governance token as part of the drOpium liquidity mining model based on game theory.

As a reminder, Opium Protocol has launched a rental insurance service for fractional real estate purchased on the RealT platform.
