U.S. customers of Coinbase Prime now have Ethereum staking, according to a company blog post.
"Clientscan create a wallet, decide on an amount, and start staking on the ETH assets page of their Coinbase Prime account,” the firm wrote.

The funds will be placed in the cold storage of the institutional platform.
Coinbase Prime also features the ability to stake Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos, Tezos, Celo, and other crypto assets.
Recall that in July, the developers of Ethereum tentatively approved the migration of the blockchain to Proof-of-Stake on September 19, 2022.
The Goerli testnet will switch to the new consensus algorithm when the cumulative network difficulty reaches 10,790,000. According to the developers, this will happen between August 6 and 12.
