Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) again came close to support at $ 10,000, but it seems that this and other serious pullbacks did not affect the intentions of the miners in any way.
According to the schedule published by the analyticalby Glassnode, for the first time since May 11, when the Bitcoin halving took place, the average Bitcoin hash rate reached a new all-time high of 156 Eh / s.

According to Glassnode, on the day scheduledReducing the remuneration of miners, the BTC hash rate increased to 152 Eh / s. Then it dropped to 121 Ech / s, then suddenly dropped to 90 Ech / s, and only after a while returned to higher values.
A consistently high hash rate meansbitcoin miners continue to work despite the loss of part of their income due to a temporary drop in the BTC rate. This is supported by a graph posted on Twitter by CoinMetrics. This block production rate indicates the health of the network.
In addition, the high hash rate provides the bitcoin network with a greater protection against 51% attacks.
