Almost 6 million Ethereum tokens have already been contributed to the Ethereum 2.0 blockchain

According to the Ethereum Foundation, 180 thousand validators have already moved about 5.9 million tokens to the blockchain of the second version of the platform.

The current tokens are already enough for 33 shares required to activate consensus mechanisms, confirm transactions, close blocks and ensure data security.
