The State Duma may adopt a law on digital financial assets as early as next month, according to RIA Novosti.
AlongAccording to Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, the authorities in general have managed to resolve disagreements regarding the document.
“For digital financial assets, unfortunately,Conflicting views between the Bank of Russia and the competent authorities… Unfortunately, until recently it was not possible to resolve the differences. Last week there was another meeting, it seems that positions were agreed upon. Now a text is being prepared, and if the relevant institutions, the Central Bank and the competent authorities, and the legal department support this text after distribution, then in March, I believe, we can come up with such a bill for consideration in the second and third readings.”- said the official.
Earlier, Aksakov said that the law on digital assets will be adopted in the spring session with a probability of 99%.
