Despite the instructions of Dmitry Medvedev, the deputies will not have time to pass a law on digital financial assets until November 1.
This was stated today by the head of the State Duma Committee onthe financial market Anatoly Aksakov, according to TASS. However, he noted that, despite the delay, the deputies will be able to find a compromise on the issue of regulating the crypto market.
According to Aksakov, the compromise lies in the possibility of using digital assets in Russia, but with the permission and control of the Central Bank, which so far does not agree with this.
He also added that cryptocurrencies without real collateral are dangerous, unlike stablecoins, which will develop and move on.
All three bills related to the cryptocurrency market, passed the first reading last year and two of them have already been accepted. But due to disagreements between the working groups on the issue of cryptocurrency regulation, consideration of the remaining, key, is regularly postponed.
