Tanzania is ready to legalize bitcoin

The president of Tanzania gave the green light to bitcoin and officially expressed support for the crypto industry.

LeaderTanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan has announced the need to accept Bitcoin as legal tender.

The President ordered the Central Bank of Tanzania to startthe necessary preparations for the restructuring of the banking system and the integration of cryptocurrency into the country's financial structure. According to Hasan, digital currencies have enormous potential, which the world community has not yet appreciated, but we need to prepare for changes now.

In Africa, South and Central America, cryptocurrency adoption is growing at a rapid pace. 

Following the example of El Salvador, the prime ministers of neighboring countries began to openly discuss the adoption of digital assets and a decentralized approach to banking for the first time.
