Russia will soon become the main mining center in the world

I want to share information that came to me not so long ago.The idea of mining, which was born together with theby the crypto industry when everyone usingthe computing capabilities of their devices, could earn themselves at least a little money, disappeared into oblivion without a trace. Now it is already a mature business, and like any mature business, there is no excess income in it for a long time. Competition between players is mainly in two directions:

Although this process can hardly be called a race. In the modern world, between the time you create a new piece of hardware, launch it into life, and the moment it is copied, less time passes than between the rallies in Belarus and the poisoning of Navalny.

Cost of electricity

Essentially, the entire competitive race between minerscomes down to who has cheaper electricity. So in Russia there are opportunities in this regard, which are not found anywhere else in the world. Due to the size of the country, a significant part of the oil fields are located far from large settlements. Together with oil, gas is produced, which must be burned. And it is burned, as a rule, to generate electricity. If the field is located near a settlement, then the electricity goes there. But if there is no such settlement, then the air is simply heated with gas (this is the main cause of global warming, again the Russians are to blame for everything).

So now a project is being developed, where onIn such fields, where the air is heated with gas, mining farms will be built (and already heat the air with radiators of the farms, because the Russians do not give up). It will be simply impossible to compete with such farms due to the near-zero cost of electricity. I do not yet know how other infrastructure problems will be solved, but as far as I know, there are already investors for this project and a very large amount (hundreds of millions of dollars) has been allocated. And in the future, a public investment opportunity may be opened (this point, of course, is very embarrassing).
