Official regulated crypto exchange launched in Kazakhstan

On September 18, XIGNAL&MT registered with Kazakhstan's Astana Financial Center andestablished a cryptocurrency exchange.

It will be the first regulated crypto platform in Kazakhstan. It will begin serving traders from January 2021, Forbes reports.

The platform's activities will fully comply with state legislation. Its clients can be not only traders from Kazakhstan, but also from other countries.

On October 20, a meeting was held between Korean investors and the administration of the XIGNAL&MT exchange.According to one of the founders of the platform, Kim Suwan, Kazakh currency traders will receivethe ability to invest in digital assets.

The administration of the exchange will introduce detailed verification of users.Only those players whose identities will be established.Identify suspicious transactions and participate in the fight against money laundering.

At the same time, Kazakhstan wants to become one ofthe world's largest miners. It was previously reported that a mining center with a capacity of up to 180 MW would be launched in this country. Investors invested more than $24 million in creating the appropriate infrastructure.
