Trading volume on crypto exchanges in May exceeded $ 2 trillion

According to the analytical service The Block Data Dashboard, in May the volume of trading operations on cryptocurrency exchanges exceeded $ 2 trillion, which is a record figure for all time.

Despite the downturn, the digital asset marketcontinues to expand actively. In February, March and April, trading volumes on the leading crypto exchanges exceeded $ 1 trillion, but last month the figure reached an all-time high of $ 2.11 trillion.

As before, in May, the lion's share of transactions with digital assets was carried out on Binance.According to The Block, it accounts for $1.52 trillion, or 72% of the totaltrading volume.

The second place is occupied by Huobi with $271 million (12.8%), and the third is OKEx with $242 million (11.5%).The rest of the trading platforms account for less than 4% of transactions.
