First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Olga Skorobogatova said that the regulator will launchwith 13 banks trial operationsindividuals with a digital ruble. Transfers and payment for goods and services will be available.
“We plan to launch the digital ruble project inthe pilot stage from April 1 at the beginning with operations - transfers between individuals and payments in trade and service enterprises," Olga Skorobogatova said on the sidelines of the Ural Cybersecurity Forum (quote from RIA Novosti).
