South Korean authorities reported thatco-founder of the collapsed Terra ecosystem, Do Kwon, was discovered in Serbia. Law enforcement officials sent a request to the Serbian authorities demanding that Kwon be extradited to Korea.
According to law enforcement agencies of the SouthKorea, Do Kwon migrated to Serbia through Singapore and Dubai. It was previously reported that he could be in Dubai, but now it has become known that Kwon is moving to Serbia.
It is worth noting that no extradition agreement was signed between South Korea and Serbia. However, both countries have signed the European extradition convention.
Thus, the Serbian authorities are not obligedextradite Do Kwon to South Korea, but this issue will be decided by politicians. South Korean prosecutors believe that Kwon is deliberately avoiding responsibility for creating a cryptocurrency pyramid.
Let us remind you that Do Kwon still denies his guilt in the collapse of the Terra ecosystem. According to him, one of the catalysts for the fall of the ecosystem was the liquidity crisis of the FTX and Genesis platforms.
