Silvergate Bank, which provides its customers with cryptocurrency storage services, has stopped working with the exchangeBinance.
Binance users in Europe received emails onSpanish and English, which announced that starting from June 11, the exchange will no longer support deposits and withdrawals using SWIFT transfers from Silvergate Bank.
USD Deposits Made to Our Silvergate Accountafter June 11, 2021 will be returned to your bank account within 21 business days. The amount returned may be less due to internal bank charges.
Binance officials declined to comment on the termination of the partnership with Silvergate.
