The analytical company CoinMetrics came to the conclusion that 80% of the total capitalization of the five best projects are stableCurrencies have an extreme degree of centralization of wealth and focus on a limited number of addresses.

The company's report shows that Tether ERC-20 is particularly well distributed among its holders. Meanwhile, 6 accounts hold 80% of the supply for Binance USD GUSD, Tether (Tron), USDK and HUSD.

USDK has a particularly strange supply distribution.3,355 accounts hold USDK, but 3,170 (94%) only hold $0.5 or $1, which they received in July 2019 from an account that in turn received its money from OKex. 

Careful analysis of transactions on Paxosshows that the two most active accounts and approximately 16,000 transactions on Paxos are associated with MMM BSC, a ponzi scheme that has seen an increase in activity in the past year. Currently, more than 40% of all PAX transfers are directly related to this scheme.

Another interesting discovery is that the most active Tether accounts on Tron are related to the payment of “dividends”. On some days they reached up to 90% of network activity. 

No more than 20% of transfers go through less than $ 100. Transfers over $ 100,000 for HUSD are 35%, for BUSD - 17%, for other stable coins about 4%.
