The number of addresses holding more than 1,000 BTC has reached a two-year high. At the same time, the dynamicsgrowth indicates that Bitcoin holders are accumulating positions, according to a new GlassNode report.

Analysts also note that the number of whales increased before the March market collapse, but has now accelerated, which is an occasion for optimism.

There is still a certain distance to the values ​​of the end of 2017, but then the levels fell at the beginning of the period of surrender of investors.

During the accumulation stage, the current trend is comparable only with indicators that could be observed in the first beginning of 2016.

Such a pattern, they say in Glassnode, is of particular interest if you take into account the latest and upcoming halving in May.

Earlier today, analysts also noticedthat the number of wallets containing at least one bitcoin reached a new historical record: 802 715. The previous record was recorded only two days ago, on April 8.
