March 17 public company,traded on the Chinese and Hong Kong exchanges, bought 386.08 BTC for $21.6 million and 16,000 ETH for $28.4 million.
As a reminder, on March 5, Meitu acquired 15,000 ETH for $ 22.1 million and 379 BTC for $ 17.9 million.
The company's statement states:
Council members believe that the blockchain industryis in an early stage of development, similar to the mobile internet industry in early 2005. The Council is also confident that cryptocurrencies have the potential to continue to grow.
Meitu went public in 2016 and is listed on the China and Hong Kong exchanges. The company has developed the MeituPic application, which is popular in Asia.
