The Russian Ministry of Finance has finalized the draft federal law “On Digital Currency”, taking into account previously received positionsdepartments and sent it to the Government of the Russian Federation.
Certain provisions of the bill have been clarified and specified, including those related to digital mining activities.
The bill provides for the creationcomprehensive regulation of the cryptocurrency market, including the procedure for carrying out transactions with digital currencies and issuing them, as well as determining the specific features of the activities of subjects of the cryptocurrency market.
