According to SimilarWeb, web traffic on cryptocurrency exchanges decreased by 20.6% in February compared to January.
User interest in trading platforms is fallingfrom November 2021, when the number of visits was 546.6 million. Last month, this figure decreased to 339.4 million. The calculations include data on participants in both spot and derivatives markets.
Almost a third (31.5%) of all crypto exchange web traffic came from Binance. The second most popular was Coinbase (17.9%). The share of other platforms did not exceed 10%; the top 5 also included Bybit(8.7%), FTX (4.9%) and Gate.io (4.0%).
In parallel with attendance, the volume of transactions has been falling for the third consecutive month. Current figures are inferior to last year, when the total trading turnover of cryptocurrency exchanges exceeded $15 trillion.
