The professional hockey team San Jose Sharks, which plays in the National Hockey League, will begin accepting bitcoins,Dogecoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies. This is due to the partnership with the payment processor BitPau, according to Sports Business Journal.
According to President Jonathan Becher, the cryptocurrency can be used for large purchases, such as free downloads for seasonal games or games.
