On Wednesday afternoon, the price of bitcoin skyrocketed by $ 2,000 in just a few minutes. At the time of writing, the local high has been set at around $ 55,500 and Bitcoin is trading at $ 54,700.
And although the price of bitcoin rose by about 9% per day, most of the top altcoins did not support the growth of the crypto flagship. ETH rose only 2%, while BNB and ADA fell 2% and 1%, respectively.
