On May 24, Bitcoin exchange Binance received a service provider license from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).category 4 digital assets.
According to the statement, regulatory approval will allow the company to offer consumers a “full range of crypto-asset exchange services.”
«Obtaining a category 4 license in"The Kingdom of Bahrain is a landmark achievement for Binance and further demonstrates our commitment to being a compliance-focused company," said Richard Tan, MENA Country Director.
The CBB granted Binance a license to operate as a cryptocurrency service provider in March.
The exchange also received a license in Dubai and approval in principle from the Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Authority as a digital asset broker-dealer.
Recall that Binance announced the launch of a regulated crypto platform in the Middle East in June.
