American Democratic Party to return $1 million received from FTX

Three organizations that are part of the US Democratic Party have announced plans to return donations received from theFunds in the amount of more than $1 million will go to thefor payments to victims.

The refunds were announced by the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Democratic Senatorial Campaigns Committee (DSCC) and theDemocratic Party Congressional Campaigns (DCCC).

"In the wake of allegations of campaign finance by FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, we're funding $815,000 in contributions from 2020.Once an action plan is agreed, we will return the funds immediately," a DNC spokesperson said.

DSCC and DCCC will refund $103,000 and $250,000, respectively.At the same time, the founder of FTX himself previously reported that he had donated about $40 million to various democratic organizations.He later claimed to have secretly donated a similar amount to Republican groups.

Interestingly, the White House received a noticeably larger sum from Bankman-Fried – about $5.2 million.At the same time, officials refuse to answer questions about the fate of these funds, sending them to representatives of the DNC.
