The maximum Bitcoin supply is 21 million, and there are only 2.5 million left to mine.
According toinformation of the ChartBTC service, more than 18.5 million BTC are already in circulation. This means that it is still possible to mine only 2.5 million coins.
It is estimated that half of the 2.5 million BTC will be mined in the next four years.
Since the creation of the first block on the blockchainBitcoin has already passed three halvings. The third halving took place in May of this year. Since mining difficulty increases every four years, the last Bitcoin is not expected to be mined until 2140. After this, it will be impossible to mine Bitcoin.
