Zilliqa project launches bounty bug for mainnet

The bug bounty program gives global developers the opportunity to test the mainnet of any project forpresence of vulnerabilities and make money on it.The implementation of this program is normal in the world of cryptocurrencies, as well as beyond. Thus, a similar reward program was initiated by the Tron Foundation immediately after the release of mainnet in the middle of last year. Following this tradition, the Zilliqa (ZIL) team now intends to test its own mainnet.

Reward for finding bugs on the ZIL network

The Zilliqa team invited all availabledevelopers to test and ensure the security of their own blockchain, cryptocurrency and implementation of smart contracts. The vulnerability detection program is managed by Bugcrowd.

Depending on the severity of the error detected, the reward will range from $ 150 to $ 5,000. Vulnerabilities were divided into four categories as follows.

1st category:

  • Remote code execution of a Zilliqa node;
  • Remote execution of the lookup node code Zilliqa;
  • Any methods of withdrawal or creation of funds.
  • 2nd category:

  • Remote execution of the Zilliqa Savant development environment code;
  • Security error or problems related to key generation, encryption, decryption and verification;
  • Vulnerabilities in smart contracts that could destabilize all ecosystem ecosystems.
  • 3 category:

  • Denial of service for Zilliqa lookup node;
  • Denial of service on Zilliqa node;
  • Denial of service at IDE Zilliqa Savant.
  • 4th category:

  • Denial of service (inability to execute the negotiation protocol) for the Zilliqa lookup node;
  • Denial of service (inability to complete the negotiation protocol) of the Zilliqa node.
  • Thanks to the reward program, the project intends to identify any possible vulnerabilities in order to provide its users with a complete solution.
