YouTube removes cryptocurrency info videos

Something really strange is happening with YouTube. Apparently, videos on cryptocurrency topics are nowunder the ban, and their creators will have to think about changing activities or moving to other platforms.

YouTube vs cryptocurrencies

A wave of locks crept up suddenly: everything was fine, when suddenly at least 6 western bloggers sounded the alarm. YouTube deleted almost all of their videos, which dealt with cryptocurrency. The reasons for this are very absurd: the videos allegedly demonstrate dangerous actions or cause harm.

The most famous injured bloggers: Chris Dunn, Chico Crypto, The Cryptoverse, Crypto Tips and BTC Sessions. It is important to understand that they made completely harmless videos, did not call for investing in pyramids and other scam. But YouTube for some reason decided that such videos have no place on the platform.

The video hosting itself has not yet given anycomments, but the situation seems pretty obvious. Most likely, YouTube has changed the requirements for content, making cryptocurrency topics potentially dangerous. There are simply no other explanations at the moment.

Chris Dunn, whose channel is subscribed to more than 200thousand people, said another interesting detail: one of the reasons for blocking his videos was the “sale of regulated goods”. Does this mean that YouTube sided with the SEC in an attempt to brand cryptocurrencies with securities?

In some cases, reasons to blockjust not visible. Videos from the Chico Crypto channel were deleted in which he asked the girls if they had heard about bitcoin. This means YouTube can potentially remove any video that mentions cryptocurrency.

Most likely, some comments fromWe will still get platforms, but will they be truthful and adequate — question is dubious. Did Trump really “ask” Google to squeeze cryptocurrencies in order to save his beloved dollar from its logical and expected demise?
