Xiaomi has introduced its own version of smart glasses with which you can answer calls, take photos, translate text and use for navigation.
According to the description of the Chinese manufacturer, the 51-gram device will have a 5-megapixel camera with an activation light, a quad-core ARM processor and will run on Android. The compact display based on MicroLED imaging technology will have 4 micron pixels, but it will not be able to view color images. The company deliberately did this for unloading the optical structure so that a sufficient amount of light can pass through it.
On the inner surface of the lens is appliedspecial engraving that repeatedly refracts light in such a way as to direct all images exactly to the user's eye without causing harm. According to the manufacturer, the device will not be just an additional smartphone screen, but a full-fledged gadget.
Xiaomi says smart glasses will allowcustomize the display of important notifications, take photos and interact with the smart home. They will also be able to display navigation maps in real time, and answer calls using the built-in speakers and microphone. The latter will also use an algorithm to analyze and instantly translate speech.
The glasses will also receive the function of translating written text into a photo and taken with a camera.
