Why not worry about the future of bitcoin?

Why not worry about the future of bitcoin?

On February 17, the Dow Jones Industrial Average approached its peak of 30,000, driven bythe longest-running US economic growth in history. At that time, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading above $ 10,000.

Over the next thirty days, coronavirus (Covid-19) escaped from China, causing major outbreaks in Italy, South Korea, France, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

When countries closed their borders and peopleasked to stay at home, the work of enterprises stopped. Stock markets collapsed and forced central banks to take emergency measures, which have not had analogues since the 2008 global financial crisis.

Against the backdrop of these events, bitcoin fell to $ 3850, sohow kryptonovich usually sell their coins whenever the risks increase. In addition, those who needed the means to support their lives were also forced to sell assets.

According to the founder and CEOcrypto exchange Binance Changpeng Zhao, when people fear the end of the world, they get rid of all investments and actively accumulate cash. But “eventually they realize they no longer need to save and reinvest their money.”

Overall, Zhao is not at all “worried about cryptocurrencies”:

«The situation has not changed fundamentally.Unlike fiat money, Bitcoin remains a currency with a limited supply. No one can issue more than the limit. Demand is growing, especially now. Everything will be fine.

The world is not divided into black and white, in mostcases we see shades of gray. Mostly cryptocurrencies feel good, they do not need emergency emission now, as in the case of fiat, when "you decide what will happen next."

The founder of Binance is extremely optimistic about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. He believes that the reason lies in the current broken system, which, according to him, is able to fix bitcoin.

Central banks print money to help companies, but at the same time "indirectly rob (make poorer) taxpayers." And bitcoin is able to fix this situation.

But this does not mean that cryptocurrencies will magically solve problems, because if the performance of companies continues to fall, ordinary people will suffer again.
