Waves Enterprise and Microsoft Announce Partnership

Waves Enterprise has announced a partnership with Microsoft that will see Waves integrate its solutions into Microsoft AzureMarketplace.

The five-year cooperation is designed to implementnew innovative solutions for Russian business and development of ready-made scenarios for optimizing corporate processes based on the BaaS concept (blockchain-as-a-service - blockchain as a service).

Integration of Waves solutions into cloud servicesMicrosoft Azure Marketplace and Microsoft Azure Stack Hub will make them part of the Microsoft ecosystem and provide wide access to Russian and foreign companies.  

Using Azure Analytics Toolswill facilitate the collection of structured data, analytic reports and graphs from blockchain applications. Out-of-the-box scripts in the Azure cloud enable companies to quickly build an enterprise application or service while ensuring that corporate data is secure. The service will allow automatic auditing of smart contracts and monitoring of network transactions.

According to Waves Enterprise, the demand forblockchain as a service is growing in Russia. The market assessment in the current year will amount to about 10 billion rubles, which will be twice as high as last year's 4 billion rubles.

In April, the Russian Ministry of Communications officially recognized Waves as a potential technology supplier for future government initiatives.
