Cryptocurrency payments are superior to other forms of settlement due to their convenience rather than their ability toresist censorship. This was stated by the founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin.
"People continue to underestimate how often crypto payments outperform others, not even because of censorship resistance, but simply because they are so much more convenient.A big boost for international business and charity, and sometimes even for payments within countries," he wrote.
Buterin emphasized that he did not diminish the importanceresistance to restrictions. According to him, he simply broadcasts personal experience, which shows that digital assets are the best tools in comparison with "alternatives currently available."
The founder of Ethereum also added that adoption and integration that will makecryptocurrencies "genuinely suitable for semi-basic international payments" depend on "robust neutrality."In his opinion, resistance to censorship is part of the latter.
Earlier, Butrin announced the potential for Ethereum to achieve a throughput of 100,000 transactions per second.
