Vitalik Buterin burned 90% of his remaining SHIB tokens

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, to whom the founders of Shiba Inu sent half of the entire token issue,burned the lion's share of SHIB.

Buterin, who received 505 trillion SHIB tokens last week, donated 50 trillion SHIB to fight coronavirus in India, and burned 90% of the remaining tokens. 

Burning means sending the token to an unusable account and removing it from circulation, which reduces supply and increases scarcity. 

The Ethereum co-founder burned 410.24 trillion SHIB tokens, valued at $ 6.74 billion at the time of the transaction.

Buterin also addressed a message to the coin creators and urged them not to transfer to him the tokens of their projects without his consent. 

Storing a large number of coins in a wallet0xab58 – this is a bad option. For security reasons they will eventually have to be moved to another wallet... I don't want to be that kind of power center. It's better to just donate the coins to a worthy charity.

After Buterin destroyed 41% of the SHIB in circulation, the coin gained 40% in value within an hour. SHIB has now rolled back to $ 0.000016.
