Visa to host conference on post-COVID-19 economy

On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, the international Visa Cashless Forum 2020 will be held on the topic “New reality, new challenges,new payments" (“New Normal, New Challenges, New Cashless”).

Visa will bring together the countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Georgia and the CIS countries on one online platform to discuss challenges, opportunities and the new digital paradigm of the post-COVID-19 era. 

Visa Cashless Forum will be broadcast online in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Ukraine. 

Forum speakers – international and regionalexperts in the field of digital technologies, famous economists, bankers, representatives of financial institutions and fintech, as well as owners of small and medium-sized businesses, including: Vera Platonova, senior vice president and director of regional development of Visa in the CIS countries and South-Eastern Europe (Ukraine); Charles Robertson, chief economist at Renaissance Capital (UK); Gleb Burtsev, Business Development Director, NovaPay, Nova Poshta (Ukraine); Oleg Gorokhovsky, co-founder, Monobank (Ukraine); Vladimir Djordjevic, regional manager for Visa in Southeast Europe (Serbia); Christina Dorosh, regional manager of Visa in the Caucasus region (Georgia); Dmitry Eremeev, ex-CEO of Richemont SA (CIS); Ekaterina Ivanova, ex-HR director in Europe, Chanel (CIS); Petr Krumhanzl, Chairman of the Board, PrivatBank (Ukraine); Ines Rocha, Director of the Financial Products Program, SME Finance and Development Department, EBRD (UK); Mikhail Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation (Ukraine); Francis Fukuyama, Olivier Nomellini Senior Fellow, Stanford University (USA); Pascal Hyafil, CEO, Coty (France); Mikhail Chernyshev, customer service specialist, Dodo Pizza (UK); Svetlana Chirva, regional manager of Visa in Ukraine and Moldova (Ukraine); Vlad Yatsenko, co-founder, Revolut (UK) and others. 

Forum participants will discuss how to adapt tonew reality and turn the challenges of the pandemic into opportunities for business, society and countries; will assess the impact of changes in consumer behavior on the rapid development of digital payment technologies, and also analyze what is driving future innovation. 

Visa Cashless Forum 2020 will includeincludes a variety of interactive formats, including panel discussions, open interviews, debates, colabs, case presentations and polls. The event will be moderated by both external experts and Visa top managers from different countries of the region.
