Payment terminal manufacturer has partnered with BitPay to support transactions with digital assets.
Verifone has entered into a partnership with cryptocurrencypayment system BitPay, which will allow retailers to accept digital assets as payment. Buyers will be able to pay at points of sale throughout the United States using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Wrapped Bitcoin and five stablecoins. The functionality will be available next year.
Sellers and buyers using the cryptocurrency will be protected from volatility as BitPay uses technology to protect against price spikes, the release said.
In September, Twitter added a feature thatallows you to send donations in bitcoins. At the moment, it is available only on devices with the iOS operating system, in the coming weeks it is promised to be added to Android.
