US imposes sanctions against hackers who stole $620 million in Ethereum

The US authorities have imposed restrictions on the Lazarus Group, which is associated with North Korea.

In March, the Ronin blockchain bridge was hacked, from whichwithdrew a cryptocurrency worth over $625 million. Attackers exploited the vulnerability on March 23, but the problem was discovered only on March 29, when one of the users was unable to withdraw 5 thousand Ethereum.
