UAE Ministry of Health Launches Blockchain Platform

The Ministry of Health of the United Arab Emirates, with the support of the authorities, is launchingNewBlockchain platform for storing healthcare data.

The platform is designed for safe storage.medical information, a register of pharmaceutical public and private medical institutions, licensed data for medical personnel and information on the supply chains of drugs and drugs.

The new platform will be part of the ministry’s plans to integrate AI into healthcare services under the Centennial 2071 project.

The platform will also be used to better regulate the healthcare industry, track results and provide vital information throughout the region.

Blockchain is increasingly being used in the field ofhealth care of different countries. For example, IBM is now working with health insurance companies Aetna, Anthem, Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) and PNC Bank on a blockchain project for claims processing, insurance claims and medical data sharing.

Synaptic Health Alliance is working on an electronic catalog of medical suppliers, and MD-Staff Applied Statistics & Management (ASM) has launched a repository of licensed medical personnel data called Checksome.
