Twitter began to remove content banned in the Russian Federation

Aggressive pressure from Roskomnadzor on Twitter has begun to bring first results. According to the department,the social network has removed a third of the prohibited content.

Twitter's speed limiting has led toremoval of the third part of prohibited publications. The agency is still dissatisfied with the slow pace of blocking materials and the parallel appearance of new, similar content. 

Roskomnadzor insists on accelerating the fulfillment of its requirements and removing the remaining two thousand publications that are dangerous to the children's audience.

Let us remind you that from March 10 Roskomnadzor slowed downloading speed of the social network in the Russian Federation. A week later, the department warned Twitter about the possible blocking of the resource without a court order, in the event of a further refusal to censor and remove publications banned in the country.
