Tron debuted at the Samsung Galaxy Store

Tron decentralized applications (dApps) are now available on the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Project ledJustin Sun announced that usersSamsung smartphones and tablets will now be able to use dApp applications developed on the Tron blockchain by downloading these applications from a specific section of the Galaxy store.

To begin with, the Blockchain Cuties and Super Players online games will be available in the Samsung Galaxy Store. More applications will be added in the near future.

According to Sun, the partnership between Tron and Samsung “marks the beginning of a new era”. In an interview with Forbes, he stated:

This is the beginning of a new era. Just imagine: after Samsung, other phone manufacturers will also begin to implement blockchain infrastructure. Cryptocurrency and blockchain applications will become widespread.

Known for its many partnerships in the cryptocurrency industry, Tron remains one of the most popular blockchain projects. 

In October last year, Samsung alreadypresented a toolkit for the development of Tron dApp. And in January of this year, Samsung Blockchain Wallet added support for Tron dApp Blockchain. Blockchain Cuties is the first full-featured collectible game to join the Samsung Blockchain Universe.
