The new decade is preparing a number of fundamental transformations for the world, the founder believesCardano blockchain platform Charles Hoskinson. They can contribute to the implementation of cryptocurrencies and blockchain in traditional systems or the replacement of the latter with new financial technologies.

He expects the emergence of a hybrid system, along with other important changes of the new decade:

• Virtual and augmented reality go beyond the entertainment industry;
• Mobile phone technology will move to the next stage;
• The electric car market will grow 2-4 times;
• Electric cars will be able to overcome 600 - 1,200 miles (965 - 1935 km) on a single battery charge;
• Self-driving cars and smart infrastructures will be widespread;
• More and more alternative energy sources will be used;
• Experiments with quantum teleportation will advance;
• Quantum computers will become usable for mass use;
• One or more African countries will reach the level of economic development of Brazil and South Korea;
• New passports and identification systems will affect the way people move around the world;
• Data will be considered a product and subject to appropriate regulation.

According to Hoskinson, the consequences of these transformations will affect all public services, and cryptocurrencies will still show themselves when another financial crisis breaks out in the world.

“This is the last decade for the media ontraditional model. There may be fewer people like CNN, Fox News, Bloomberg, and the Wall Street Journal, and more like Joe Rogan, especially after 2025.
