Bitcoin buyers took advantage of the price pullback to build up their positions and are now withdrawingcryptocurrency from exchanges, according to the data of the analytical company Glassnode.

The net outflow from exchange wallets in 24 hours amounted to 1,365 BTC, which was the largest value this year. At the same time, the bitcoin price rolled back from levels above $ 56,000 to $ 50,000.

“Today was marked by a new maximum for the withdrawal of bitcoins from exchanges in 2021, and with it a new prize for buying on a pullback,” wrote analyst Willie Wu.

Another metric speaks of an increase in the numberilliquid coins. The monthly change in the supply of bitcoins held in liquid and highly liquid wallets has gone deep into the negative zone. The change in the indicator turned out to be the maximum over the last three years, as can be seen in the graph below.

This could indicate an increased perception of bitcoin as a hedge against inflation, according to Glassnode.

"The trend for the withdrawal of assets for long-termstorage is a direct reaction to the reaction of central banks for 2020. It seems that significant demand from long-term investors remains, ”the company noted earlier.
