The Chinese mining company The9 Limited and KazDigital Ltd are creating data centers in Kazakhstan with a capacity of 100 MW.

The joint venture will use mining rigs from The9 and possibly other third-party vendors.

The construction of a platform for mining cryptocurrencies will take place in four stages.

The first stage with a capacity of 25 MW has already been completed, and the next 75 MW is planned to be connected by the end of this year. Starting in January 2022, 25 MW will be installed quarterly.

The9 has its last-generation capacity and is expecting24,000 Antminer S19j shipments from Bitmain.

The9 is one of the publicly traded bitcoin mining companies that have been severely affected byrepression of China.

The company has operated 35,000 miners in Chinese provinces. However, the power outage of China's mining farms forced the company to relocate its facilities.

After China's aggressive policy, many minersBTC migrated to other countries to resume their activities. Kazakhstan's share of global BTC mining increased almost sixfold in April, making it one of the most popular destinations for BTC mining.
