A study from recruiting platform Indeed.com says that the number of job openings increased sharply in 2019.related to the cryptocurrency industry. Specialists in digital currencies and decentralized technologies need not only small startups, but also large corporations.
Researchers studied the dynamics of the placement of suchvacancies since 2015 and came to the conclusion that over four years the number of jobs related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies jumped by 1457%, while the share of people wishing to get such a job added only 469%.
At the same time, analysts emphasize that applicantsless actively this year they are looking for work related to the cryptosphere. The number of online requests for employment in blockchain companies fell in 2019 by 53%.
Peak values were recorded in 2017, when people were massively interested in cryptocurrencies and wanted to work in the field of decentralized technologies.
The most sought after specialists amongemployers remain software engineers and software architects. The largest employers in this area are technology giant IBM, investment bank JP Morgan and financial services company Deloitte.
About half of all blockchain specialists work on cryptocurrency exchanges.
